10 Summer Eyeshadow Looks And Ideas To Try This Year

With every season comes different makeup inspirations. Winter is all about sparkly makeup that is deep and dark and of course, Christmasy.

Fall brings all those earthy natural colours that we see in fall. Spring is when the pastels and butterflies come out, and for many, that’s their favourite season to be inspired.

But, don’t forget about summertime. Summer is all about bright, happy colours that are fresh. It’s about beaches and sunsets, which just so happen to make some of the most beautiful and inspiring makeup looks!

Here we’ve rounded up some of the best summer eyeshadow looks to keep you inspired this summer! We’ve put together makeup looks for all levels and styles!

1. Fresh Glam Summer Eyeshadow

This fresh glam makeup look is perfect for those summer weddings or parties! Pink eyeshadow always looks good with a healthy summer tan, and let me tell you a little pink eyeshadow secret- it also makes you look younger!

Match your eyeshadow with a pink blush and nude lip to complete the look.

2. Cut Crease Heaven

Cut-crease eyeshadow looks are a great way to practise your eyeshadow technique. This sunset-inspired cut crease eye is gorgeous and worth all the effort!

An added bonus is having blue eyes, but unfortunately, that’s not something we get to choose! Check out some more blue eyeshadow ideas here.

3. Soft Peachy

You can never go wrong with a subtle neutral makeup look. Add a touch of originality with some white eyeliner on the crease of the eyelid. It may only be one simple line, yet, it brightens the whole look a lot!

Ready for a hot summer? This smokin’ hot eyeshadow look will give you exactly that! I wouldn’t have thought of combining lilac with red, but it works beautifully!

Sometimes, you need to think a little out of the box and you’ll be surprised at the ideas and eyeshadow color combinations you can come up with:)

5. Summer Sparkle Eyes

Sometimes less is more and this makeup look is all about that! Keeping the colors neutral, the eyes are drawn to the gems that are just above the crease line.

This look is ideal for a summer evening out! It’s light and natural, yet still has some fun factor!

6. Neon Pink Smokey Eye

Neon pink eyeshadow is bright and summery and will no doubt bring a smile to those around you!

7. Cool Watermelon

Do you love watermelon? They depict summer and happen to be delicious too.

Be inspired and have some fun creating this watermelon eyeshadow look! Don’t forget to add some stones for the watermelon seeds!

8. Pastel Dreams Eyeshadow

Pastels don’t have to be boring and this eyeshadow look is proof of that! The eyeshadow is ideal for anyone who wants their eyes to appear more almond-shaped.

Almond-shaped eyes are beautiful, and with a few tricks, anyone’s eyes can get the look.

Create the look with a cut-crease wave that doesn’t follow the eyelid. Apply a winged eyeliner and continue the eyeliner to the inner corner of the eye too!

9. Sand and Sea

Usually, blue and orange are not my favourite colours to pair together. However, there’s always an exception to every rule and these eyes are that exception!

They’re sending strong sand and sea vibes which is what summer is all about! Using one shade on top and another below the lower lashes can be extremely effective!

10. Summer Nights

This makeup look reminds me of those long summer nights spent chilling outside, wishing on a shooting star! I’m happy for you (and not at all jealous!) if you’ve seen a shooting star, but I’ve never had that luck!

Whether you have or haven’t seen a shooting star, you can get the look in your eyes! Original, fun and creative!
