Winter Eyeshadow Looks and Trends To Try This Year
With festivity in the air and the holidays nearly upon us, spice things up a bit by swapping out your regular eyeshadow looks for wintery or festive eye looks. Eyeshadow is an easy way to express yourself and have fun!
I’ve put together the best and most fun wintery eyeshadow looks and trends. From classy to sparkly we’ve got it all!
1. Winter Wonderland Eyeshadow
Going straight into wintery eyeshadow looks with this stunning winter wonderland eyeshadow. Blue eyeshadow is definitely for the more daring, but the results are well worth it.
And if blue isn’t for you, you can always swap it out for another colour. The inner eye sparkle really finishes off the look beautifully and adds that small festive touch!
2. Multi-Chrome Look
This multi-chrome eyeshadow look takes shimmer to a whole new level. Up your eyeshadow looks and swap your regular shimmers and glitters for chrome.
Any colour would work for this look, but purple and green do it for me! It’s dazzling and has so much depth!
3. Candy Cane Eye Look
Can’t get enough candy canes this time of the year? Spread the love by treating yourself to this pink and white candy cane eye look. Perfect for a Christmas party, these eyes will add to the festivities!
4. Neutral Glam Eyeshadow
Fun eyeshadows are fun, but if they’re not for you, we have this gorgeous, classy, timeless smokey eye. Smokey eyes go any time of the year, but the warm frostiness of these eyes makes them perfect for winter!

5. Complementary Colours
Using complementary colours is a powerful way to create striking colorful eyes. Using the right amount of each colour can be tricky, but Karolina here has done a fab job.
They complement each other perfectly, without the colours fighting for attention. This look can be recreated for any season, but the smokiness gives it an autumny, wintery vibe.
6. Deep Sultry Eyes
Go deep, dark and mysterious with this stunning eye look. It has enough sparkle for the holiday season, and the blue shade is not only pretty but also festive! Use the Pat McGrath Subliminal Palette to get this look.
7. Crystal Fairy Eyes
Treat your eyes to something special this holiday season, with some added crystals and bling! Add any stones and scatter them over your eyes. Trust me, you’ll be a head-turner:)
8. Multi-Chrome 2
I know we already included one multi-chrome eye look, but how could we pass on this one?! It’s simply too beautiful! This eyeshadow look matches the sparkly decor in the streets at this time of year!
Multi-chrome shadows have extra depth with all the shades they include. From the picture alone we can see purples, blues and green. And that’s just from an image, imagine how dazzling they are in reality!
9. Moody Winters
No eyeshadow lookbook is ever complete without featuring Queen James Charles! His originality and skills are of new levels.
This moody wintery silver eyeshadow is perfect for those days when the weather is grey and your mood matches it. These eyes are the ideal way to lift your mood!
10. Frosty Lilac Eyeshadow
Pretty in purple! The combination of white hair with pastel purple eyeshadow gives a fabulous wintery frosty look. It’s pretty and unique.
Not everyone can pull it off because you need the right colouring for it, but if you can, give it a go! You’ll score 10 out of 10 for originality!
11. Ice, Ice Baby
Can someone turn up the heat?! This icy eyeshadow look makes me feel cold just looking at it! Ideal for a party where you need to impress.
The fun part is that it’s relatively easy to recreate, all you need is some white eyeshadow or eyeliner and white mascara!
12. Mesmerising Purple Winter Eyes
Purple eyeshadow with blue eyes is truly mesmerising. Use a dark purple base and some glitter for this stunning effect.
Don’t forget the pink eyeshadow under the eye, you need it to complete the look. Add some pink glitter on the lid too so that it all flows!
13. Bronze Metallic Eyeshadow
Bright eyeshadow may not be your thing, and that’s ok! It doesn’t mean you’re boring.
There are loads of ways to create interesting neutral looks and this bronze, grey eyeshadow look is proof of that. It’s smokey, wintery and has a frosty touch to it too.
14. Blue Glam
Starting and ending with blue eyes. Blue is festive colour as well as a colour that reminds you of the cold. This eyeshadow looks reminds me of a cold blue sea with icy particles.
Whatever it reminds you of, I think one thing we can all agree on is that it’s beautiful and party-ready!
My Thoughts
The sheer number of different looks that you can create in the winter and holiday period is really endless!
Play around with different ideas and put your own touch on these fabulous winter eyeshadow looks. The main thing to remember is to have fun!
