Rare Beauty Kind Words Matte Lipsticks and Liners For The Ultimate Nude Lip
Rare Beauty is making itself known in the beauty world for good solid makeup products that have meaningful messages behind them! You have got to love a brand that wants to spread kindness!
Rare Beauty has announced another new release, the Kind Words Matte Lipsticks and Liners will be available from 7th July. At first glance, these lipsticks and liners look fabulous! Let’s see what they’re all about!
Rare Beauty Kind Words Matte Lipsticks and Liners
Rare Beauty Kind Words Matte Lipsticks and Liners come with 10 nudes in made-to-match shades. This collection is nude heaven for all those neutral lovers out there (myself included)!
The inspiration behind the collection was to create a lipstick that’s comfortable to wear, easy to use and perfect for every day. The message behind it is, to use kind words. It’s as easy as applying lipstick.
It’s hard not to love a message like that; more often than not, using kind words is easier than applying lipstick!
Kind Words Matte Lipstick
These vegan, matte lipsticks are everything you could wish for in lipstick! They are long-wearing, hydrating and cruelty-free.
The lipsticks are buttery and soft in texture, highly pigmented and comfortable to wear. With a unique formula, the lipsticks move with your lips, keeping them soft and nourished throughout the day.
If you hate it when your lips get cakey and dry, these may just be the lipsticks that you need!
Kind Words Matte Lipsticks retail for $20 and can be bought from Sephora
Kind Words Matte Lip Liner
Much like lipstick, the lip liners are long-wearing, vegan, cruelty-free, have a matte finish and are comfortable to wear without any sticky feeling. They are also waterproof.
The purpose of the lip liner is to help your lipstick stay on better and longer. It helps the lipstick stay in place and prevents bleeding.
While lip liners aren’t a necessity, I highly recommend using one if you want your lipstick to apply neatly and last throughout the day.
The kind words lipsticks come with their own built-in sharpener designed especially for it. This is really useful, you don’t need to carry a sharpener around with you if you’re on the go!
Kind Words Matte Lip Liners retail for $15 and can be bought from Sephora
The Shades
The shades for the lipstick and the lip liner are the same, and they have the same names. The names are all inspiring kind words with the aim of making you feel good about yourself!
They are:
- Talented – true neutral beige
- Creative – muted peach
- Lively – rose pink
- Worthy – muted mauve
- Humble – rose mauve
- Fun – neutral mauve
- Wise – warm brown nude
- Bold – deep berry rose
- Gifted – deep dusty plum
- Strong – rich chocolate brown
As you can see, the shades are all beautiful nudes, and there’s a shade for every skin color. If you’ve been following my blog for a while now, you’ll know how I love everything nude, and it looks like this collection was made for me!
My Thoughts
Rare Beauty Kind Words Matte Lipsticks and Liners are hard not to love! From the packaging to the actual products and the message behind them.
The neutral, clean packaging has won my heart! Although it’s not so original, the lipsticks remind me of the Charlotte Tilbury ones. However, when it comes to simple packaging, originality in colour and design is limited, so I won’t hold them on that!
