I love Pixi Beauty, their products are simple yet effective! And it’s always exciting when they release a new product, but even more exciting is when they just release a new collection!

Pixi Beauty has just come out with its new Clarity Collection. It consists of a four-piece beauty collection- Pixi Clarity Concentrate, Clarity Tonic, Clarity Lotion and the Clarity Cleanser.

These skincare products are everything you need for a perfect skincare routine this summer!

The Pixi Clarity Skin Care Collection

From the brand that brought to you the award-winning Glow Tonic, comes the Pixi Clarity Cleanser and Pixi Clarity Tonic. Along with these are the Concentrate and a lotion to complete your daytime or nighttime routine.

This collection was made for all skin types and will give your skin the much-needed love it needs! They can be bought separately. As a set, it costs $81 in the US and £78 in the UK.

The collection features a baby blue and matte avocado green theme throughout its packaging. The design is minimal and cute and classic Pixi style with their pastel colours. The packaging has a summery feel, with the colours reminding me of the ocean (which I have yet to see after so many months!)

Clarity Cleanser

The Pixi Clarity Cleanser is a gel cleanser that hydrates while gently and effectively cleansing your skin and visibly minimizing breakouts. It’s suitable for all skin types but ideal for those with combination or oily skin.

It has salicylic acid and glycolic acid for exfoliating and unclogging the pores, so not only is it a cleanser, but it also exfoliates at the same time!

It’s also made with lactic acid to help your skin regenerate and renew layers. The probiotics and aloe extracts provide a soothing and strengthening layer so your skin is protected from dirt buildup and germs.

The cleanser is housed in an upright squeezable tube with a snap-on cap. For $18/£18 per 135mL tube, you get a soothing exfoliator that doesn’t irritate your skin.

It’s a clear gel that covers your entire face with just a coin-sized amount of the product. It has a faint tropical scent that really makes me wish I’m out vacationing by the beach, instead of here getting UV rays from my screen. But alas, the circumstances are throwing curveballs non-stop.

Back to the cleanser! For my combination skin, I like that it’s left my skin feeling fresh. No oil or dry textures whatsoever, and it made my face feel lovely and soft.

I did find that my skin was a little tight after using the cleanser and that it definitely needed a moisturising product to follow up. This brings into the picture, the Pixi Clarity Lotion.

Pixi Clarity Lotion

Pixi Clarity Lotion

The Clarity lotion is a lightweight, oil-free moisturiser that infuses your skin with ceramides and aloe vera. It also has kaolin to absorb unwanted oils for a mattified face. The product’s texture is a cool gel cream.

Lovely to use, it literally sinks into your skin really nicely and spread smoothly. It’s definitely a nice oil-free moisturiser to have. It minimises the look of shiny areas and keeps the face hydrated.

It comes in an upright squeeze tube with a screw cap. And for $24 or £24 per mL, isn’t too bad of a product. I love that it has kaolin in it and it really did keep my face oil-free.

There aren’t many moisturisers out there with kaolin so this is a welcoming ingredient They’re usually found in cleansers and exfoliators, but honestly, it fares really well in this lotion!

Clarity Tonic

Pixi Clarity Tonic

The Pixi Clarity Tonic had high expectations from everyone including me. Mostly because Pixi has been releasing some pretty amazing toners like the Pixi Glow Tonic and Vitamin C Tonic. And fortunately, this new tonic is no exemption!

The formula really picks up on the dirt and other pore impurities missed by washing and cleansing. Another bonus- it doesn’t sting! It has a smooth water texture to it and when it glides on the skin with a cotton pad, you can really feel its non-abrasive texture.

I mention this because there are many toners out there that feel a little rough on the skin. After using this toner, the skin feels cleansed and plump. There are no tight feelings and it even feels a little hydrating.

The toner works well on all skin types including dry skin. For more great toners, check out the best toners for sensitive skin.

The clarifying toner has potent AHAs, antioxidants, and probiotics to rid the skin of dirt and minimize the appearance of pores. It comes in 2 options; 100mL and 250mL. Each costs $15/£10 and $29/£18.

Clarity Concentrate

Pixi Clarity Concentrate

The Pixi Clarity Concentrate is an effective, water-based serum that helps minimise the look of pores. It’s a moisturising and exfoliating serum all in one. It quickly exfoliates, as well as hydrates and balances, helping to refine and promote an even skin complexion.

It helps in reducing breakouts by clearing out the pores and helping them gradually tighten up.

This serum feels really lightweight and absorbs fast. It’s got a silky texture to it and smells like tropical berries! I’ve found it is best to use this in the morning for a good moisture backup.

By now I can tell that this collection is more for oily and combination skin types than dry ones. Although, I can see it would work well for other skin types during hotter climates.

One 30mL bottle is worth $24 in the US and £26 UK. It comes in a plastic container with the standard dropper applicator for serums and oils. It’s a little costly for me and considering that it’s a plastic bottle, I don’t think it should be quite so pricey.

This product is my least favourite from the set, I just find the others work better and you get better value for money. Nevertheless, it does the job well.

My Thoughts

The collection is pretty good. It doesn’t really have a wow factor to it, but the results are more than average and the products work well.

My favourite products from the collection are the Pixi Clarity Tonic and Clarity Lotion. They’re great products that perform as well as my usual toner and moisturiser and they only cost me half the price.

Pixi recommends the Clarity Collection for all skin types, but I think it’s more suitable for oily skin types and those with occasional greasy spells. Their formulas are really soothing really noticed a difference in my skin! This collection fits its name Clarity!
