bareMinerals Poreless Clay Cleanser

bareMinerals Poreless Clay Cleanser

Like most clay cleansers, the soft creamy feel of the product feels amazing on the skin. It’s a white cream with a super buttery texture. It does a really good job of clearing oily skin.

As someone who often has shiny moments during the day, it’s products like these that help me get through the day in one piece.

The clay cleanser comes in a plastic 120mL squeeze tube with lavender accents. It’s very easy and hygienic to use. It’s meant to help clean up your face from excess oils, and it helps reduce feeling like a hot greasy potato chip!

The bareMinerals poreless cleanser rinses off excess oils easily. It smells like citrus fruits, but not in an overpowering way. And although it bothers me slightly, so far I have not experienced any tingles or breakouts using it, as well as with the rest of the collection.

The cleanser is also a very effective makeup remover! It removes the makeup easily and leaves the skin feeling super smooth. If you like removing makeup with water, you’ll love the fact that it’s a 2-in-1 product with minimal ingredients.

Key Ingredients

Prebiotics: Sugar Cane & Sugar Maple – Main nutrient ingredients to help maintain healthy skin

Superfruits: Bilberry, Noni Fruit, Orange & Lemon Extracts – Glycolic, tartaric, lactic and citric acids that help minimize the look of pores. These are the main cleansing ingredients and acid compounds that act like dish soap against grease.

Chia Seed Extract: Helps reduce the look of excess oil and shine, revealing what your skin really looks like in its best condition.

bareMinerals Poreless Exfoliating Essence

bareMinerals Poreless Exfoliating Essence

The bareMinerals Poreless Exfoliating Essence mimics the effects of micro peels! Contained in a 150mL plastic bottle, the white velvety liquid is really gentle on the skin, but not on the dirt and oil! I can literally feel my dead and dirty skin layers removed after using it.

The effect it has on the skin is almost close to the effect and texture of micellar water. It doesn’t burn nor does it make the skin itch. It’s not harsh.

It simply feels like those cleaning commercials that go over the dirty floor with just one glide.

In addition to the glowing effects that it has, I also noticed that my large pores were reduced to a more forgiving state. It doesn’t dry out the skin, despite the effective toning exfoliation.

It’s lightweight on the skin and fragrance-free, overall, it has a great formula. The key ingredients are the same as the poreless clay cleanser.

Poreless Oil-Free Moisturizer

bareMinerals Poreless Oil-Free Moisturiser

This moisturizer is a must-try, if not a must-have! I have never known a moisturising product to be as light as this one, and trust me I have tried (far too) many.

It’s as light as air and if you’re in flow, you’ll forget you’re even wearing moisturizer as the skin absorbs it so quickly. It doesn’t leave any white cast, instead, it leaves refreshed, younger-looking, hydrated skin.

More importantly, this moisturiser is totally oil-free! I love oil-free moisturizers as they hydrate the skin without all the heaviness and clogging of the pores. They’re the best ones to use at night if you want to avoid waking up sticky.

The moisturiser is dermatologist-tested and recommended for all skin types. Even if you don’t have oily skin, but want to try the bareMinerals moisturiser, it will work wonderfully on you too.

The packaging is a matte-white, pump bottle which is lovely. It comes with 50 mL, and a little goes a long way so it should last quite a while. One pump is enough. Two is generous. And three is just wanting to hog all the benefits at once!

It seems bareMineral’s key ingredients are working for this collection, because the same prebiotics, superfruits, and chia seed extracts are also present in the poreless moisturiser. All of these ingredients have done nothing but give me smooth radiant skin.

To get the best possible results bareMinerals recommends using all 3 products. They suggest incorporating the 3-Step Regimen twice daily, in the morning and at night.

1. First, cleanse with Poreless Clay Cleanser. Use on a damp face.

2. Then, use a cotton pad to apply Poreless Exfoliating Essence all over the face.

3. Finish by applying Poreless Oil-Free Moisturizer to your face and neck.

Most brands recommend using all the products of one range together. While they do work great together, I think they all work well individually too. You don’t need to feel pressured to buy all the products if you only really want one!

Final Thoughts

I am in love with the bareMinerals Poreless 3-Step Regimen products! It works really well on my skin and has made it look fresh and clear! The products are sitting slightly on the pricier side though.

Also, I thought it was a little interesting that buying the 3-Step Regimen Kit doesn’t come at a bundled price, but that’s not really a deal-breaker.

It works really well on oily skin and combination skin too.
