Before I get into the actual product, let me tell you more about my lips. My lips are naturally thick so I wasn’t looking for a plumping effect, but in the last few years, I’ve started noticing more lines on and around my lips. Also as I mentioned, I’m terrible at looking after my lips so they are always a bit chapped, but as I’ve just hit 35, I imagine they’ve started aging too. A product that addresses lines while delivering moisture has undeniably piqued my interest!

Using lip oil is easy and straightforward. All you need to do is apply a generous amount to your lips as the last step in your skincare routine before bed. Its doe-foot applicator gives a smooth and even application that feels lovely on the lips!

Does City Lips Oil Really Work- My Honest Experience

I’ve used the lip oil for about 3 weeks now and I’m loving the results. But, let’s start at the beginning. Using the oil is super-easy, but what really stuck out to me is how comfortable it is to wear.

As someone who hates the feeling of lip products, I was pleasantly surprised at how the lip oil doesn’t bother me at all.

In fact, on the contrary, it feels extremely comfortable and doesn’t have any stinging effect that so often comes with plumping lip products. However, it’s not only comfort that we’re after, it’s results! And let me tell you, the City Lips Oil delivers!

After using it only a couple of times, my lips instantly felt smoother and plumper. Eventhough the lip oil doesn’t feel like an exfoliator, it clearly does the work of one.

The real magic took longer to work. My lips have always been the most chapped where my upper and lower lips meet. It took about 2 weeks of using the oil to notice a substantial difference. Although the chapped ‘line’ is still there a bit, and my lips probably need another few weeks of lip oil, the difference is incredible! It’s no longer as chapped and feels so much smoother!

The difference in my lips is huge and until I put these pictures together, I didn’t realise what a difference the night oil has made for my lips! Aside from my lips feeling smoother, healthier and younger, my lines and wrinkles have disappeared and my lips are plumper! Eventhough I wasn’t looking for plumper lips, I won’t deny that I’m loving the filler effect the oil has given, and who doesn’t want fewer lines?!

It’s ideal for anyone with dry or aging lips, that wants a comfortable way to get younger looking, smoother lips!
