Kosas Revealer Skin-Improving Foundation is all about makeup that’s good for your skin. Natural-looking, ingredients that help improve the skin are a few of the claims.

I’m all about natural-looking coverage that does look or feel like foundation. A couple of my favorites are the Armani Neo Nude Tinted Moisturizer and the Urban Decay Hydromaniac Tinted Hydrator.

The main disadvantage to both is that they don’t have SPF, which the Revealer Foundation has.

I decided to try out the Kosas Revealer Foundation to see if it can become my next go-to foundation! Continue reading this review to find out if it lives up to its claims.

What is Kosas?

Before getting into the details of the Revealer Skin-Improving Foundation, here’s a little background on the brand. Kosas is known for clean makeup that supports skin health while still delivering great coverage and performance. Launched in 2015, it has since become a well-established name in the clean beauty space.

The brand offers vegan and cruelty-free makeup, from lipsticks to foundations and eye products, with formulas designed to be kind to the skin. Many of their products double as skincare, making them a popular choice for sensitive and acne-prone skin.

At its core, Kosas is about helping you look and feel good without compromising the health of your skin.

Kosas Revealer Skin-Improving Foundation SPF 25 Claims

This medium-coverage liquid foundation boasts some fabulous skincare ingredients. It has a lovely natural finish that visibly smoothes texture and minimises pores. Kosas claims it gives a second-skin appearance, and once on, you can barely feel you’re wearing it.

Ingredients

Shades

The Kosas Revealer Skin-Improving Foundation has an SPF of 25 and comes in 36 shades. Even though this is a fairly wide range, most of the shades cater to medium skin tones rather than very fair or very deep complexions.

I got the second fairest shade- 110, which is very light with neutral undertones.

Application

Applying the Kosas Revealer Skin-Improving Foundation is smooth and easy. Its texture is richer than a tinted moisturizer, which surprised me at first given the skincare ingredients—but of course, it’s a foundation, not a tinted moisturizer.

It feels silky on the skin and blends beautifully, giving a flawless finish.

Coverage and Finish

The foundation has a medium coverage that has a lovely natural, glowy finish. It blends seamlessly into the skin leaving the skin with a glow that isn’t shiny!

Wear Test and Honest Review

The most important factor for me in a foundation is that it looks natural—I can’t stand when it clings to dry patches or emphasizes pores. After applying my regular moisturizer, I used two pumps of the Kosas Revealer Skin-Improving Foundation. It glides onto the skin, blends seamlessly, and feels comfortable all day. It gives a smooth, flawless finish while minimizing pores.

But how does it last? Designed for eight-hour wear, it mostly does—but after 3–4 hours, I noticed some dryness around my nose, mouth, and forehead. Because of that, I think it’s better suited for combination to oily skin, though on well-hydrated days, it wears beautifully.

Will I continue using it? Absolutely. Applying it before my moisturizer dries helps prevent dryness, and it still feels more hydrating than most full-coverage foundations. I love the glow it gives my skin, the SPF, and the natural finish. While I still reach for my tinted moisturizer on most days, this is my go-to when I want extra coverage and sun protection.

Kosas Revealer Skin-Improving Foundation is an impressive foundation that has a lot of positive factors! If you can find the right shade for your skin, it may just become your favourite foundation. Hopefully, Kosas will improve the shade range, but for now, it’s got loads to offer for the right skin shade.

I love that it’s all about getting better skin with natural coverage. Gone are the days when caking yourself in makeup is the rage and we’re grateful for that!
