The news of the Blush Wands leaked out after makeup artist Kristofer Buckle did a makeover for the stunning Jessica Chastain.

All it took was a 30-second reel on Instagram for the news to blow up and it did exactly that! The news spread like wildfire and unsurprisingly there are lots of excited fans!

Charlotte Tilbury is famously known for its dewy and luminous makeup, especially when it comes to base makeup!

A matte liquid blush is definitely a first for Charlotte Tilbury, yet a welcoming change!

The Matte Beauty Blush Wands are available in 4 beautiful shades.

They are:

  • Pink Pop
  • Peach Pop
  • Pillow Talk
  • Dream Pop

All of the shades are easy to apply and glide seamlessly onto the skin. They last all day giving you a beautiful pop of color, that has a gorgeous natural-looking finish.

The shade Peach was worn by Jessica at the Golden Globes! And how gorgeous does she look in it?!

Ideal for pale and fair skin, the shade has just the right amount of tint so that it’s not overwhelming for light skin tones!

The blushes are perfect for a natural makeup look as well as a bolder one. They’re buildable making them ideal for all occasions!

We love that these blushes are available in matte. There are so many liquid blushes available, but most of them have a dewy or glowy finish. It’s lovely to have matte for a change!

What’s the blush for you, powder or liquid?

There’s so much to love when it comes to a liquid blush, but the real question is, is it the right blush for you?

Some people are lucky and can wear powder or liquid blush, but often, one blush works better than the other, depending on the skin type.

For ageing, mature and dry skin, liquid blush is the way forward! Powder blush is great for oily skin, whereas the liquid will just make the skin look oilier.

Liquid and cream blushes often have hydrating ingredients making them ideal for dry skin. But that’s not all.

They tend to settle in the lines less than powder blushes, giving them a more natural appearance.

Aside from the pros and cons for the different skin types, liquid blushes are easier to blend, easier to build up and give the skin a natural-looking tint that doesn’t dry it out!

It’s fair to say that liquid blushes have loads of advantages and we’re sure the Charlotte Tilbury Pillow Talk Matte Beauty Blush Wands live up to all those claims!

My Thoughts

Charlotte Tilbury’s makeup is luxurious and of course pricey! Don’t we all love that? But, you know you’re getting quality makeup!

The blushes come in the same packaging as the highlighters and many of us have a love/hate or more like hate/hate relationship with it.

The main reason for that is because the product isn’t filled to the top. However, the amount it says on the packaging is actually the amount of product inside, so no one loses out in any way!

We have high hopes for the new matte liquid blushes and predict a sell-out! What do you think?
