Get A Healthy Glow With Lancôme’s New Teint Idole Ultra Care & Glow Wear Foundation
Lancôme may be a little late to the natural foundation trend, but they’ve finally realised that people are no longer looking for matte finishes in their makeup base.
Whereas the Teint Idole Ultra 24H Matte Foundation was all the rage a few years ago, now more and more people are opting for tinted moisturizers or foundations with natural finishes.
What’s also trending is makeup with skincare ingredients that have benefits for your skin. Lancôme wants a part of that too and this skincare-infused foundation is exactly that!
I used to be a huge fan of the Teint Idole Ultra 24H Matte Foundation. But, with my skin changing along with the release of more natural-looking bases, the Teint Idole Ultra 24H Matte Foundation has become a little dusty in my cupboard.
The new Lancôme Teint Idole Ultra Care & Glow Wear Foundation is a really exciting release. Lancome always has quality makeup with great formulas. Let’s find out if this new natural-looking foundation is up to par!
Lancôme Teint Idole Ultra Care & Glow Wear Foundation Review

Coverage: | Medium |
Finish: | Natural |
Skin Type: | Oily, Combo, Normal Skin |
Formulation: | Liquid |
Cruelty-Free: | No |
SPF: | 27 |
Highlighted Ingredients: | Hyaluronic Acid and Mandelic Acid |
The Teint Idole Ultra Care & Glow Wear Foundation is all about giving you hydrated skin, with a natural glowing finish. It has medium buildable coverage that’s extremely lightweight and comfortable to wear. It’s not heavy on the skin, the foundation gives the skin a skin-like finish making it hard to see that you’re wearing foundation at all!
Glow in its name, and glow in its look, it gives you a beautiful dewy glow that’s ideal for oily, combination and normal skin types. Often glowing makeup products make the skin look greasy, not the case here. You’ll get a natural-looking hydrated glow!
Designed to give your skin skincare benefits, it has hyaluronic acid which visibly plumps the skin as well as, mandelic acid which smoothes and refines the skin.

No good foundation is ever complete without SPF! The Teint Idole Ultra Care & Glow Wear Foundation has SPF 27. I love that it’s got SPF, but why Lancôme came up with the number 27 is a bit random! Perhaps it’s their way of standing out from the crowd;)
Teint Idole Ultra Care & Glow Wear Foundation Shades
Available in 30 transfer-resistant shades, this foundation works for all skin types including sensitive ones.

26 of the shades have a natural finish and 4 of them have a radiant finish. This is where it gets a bit random again. Why only those specific 4 shades come in a radiant finish is interesting.
Another thought on the shade range is that it looks great for pale skin like mine, and for mid-range skin tones, but, for darker skin shades it looks a bit limited. For more inclusive foundations check out these here.
My Thoughts
When it comes to foundations, Lancôme knows its game. They may be a little late to the natural finish trend, but the Teint Idole Ultra Care & Glow Wear Foundation was worth the wait!
Retailing at $47, it’s on the pricey end. However, you know you’re getting your money’s worth with a quality foundation!
