Sigma Beauty New Cor De Rosa Extended Collection

After their success with the Cor De Rosa eyeshadow palette, it’s no surprise that Sigma Beauty has added to the collection. They have just announced that they are releasing a Cor De Rosa Blush Palette along with brushes.

It gives the loveliest Spring vibe, and the warm neutral shades are totally delightful! Obviously, the quality is true Sigma Beauty quality- the shadows are easy to apply and blend with little fallout.

All in all, it’s a winner of a palette for them and there’s no better time than the beginning of Spring to release additions to this collection!

Let’s get into the new releases!

Sigma Beauty Cor De Rosa Extended Collection

Sigma Beauty Cor De Rosa Extended Collection is just as impressive as the eyeshadow palette. The packaging is beautiful, it’s decked in pink and rose gold roses, much like the eyeshadow palette.

Included in the Sigma Beauty Extended Collection are:

  • Cor De Rosa Blush Palette $49
  • Bloom + Glow Brush Set $65 including 3 rose gold face brushes inside a matching bag

The blush palette comes with 6 shades of buildable blush colours. There are 4 matte shades 2 with added shimmer, Bronze Star looks metallic.

The style and layout of this palette are not something new to Sigma Beauty. They already have a blush palette that is very similar. The Blush Cheek Palette also has 6 blush shades with 4 mattes and 2 shimmers.

In fact, the layout is exactly the same. The only difference is the shades. The Cor De Rosa Blush Palette has deeper shades, whereas the Blush Cheek Palette has lighter and brighter shades.

They do, however, have one shade in common- the Cor De Rosa which is a lovely rose pink. Aside from that overlap, all of the shades in the Cor De Rosa Blush Palette are original and new shades.

Blush Cheek Palette

My initial reaction to the palette is that it definitely ticks all the boxes in terms of the packaging and the shades! It’s useful to have different shades of blush for different occasions.

What you may wear for an everyday look is usually more subtle than what you wear for an evening or party look. So yes, it’s nice to have a few different shades to choose from!

The only drawback aside from the pricey cost of the palette is that I don’t know how well it will suit those will lighter skin- like myself! All 6 shades are on the deep and darker side. That being said, if you have mid-range to darker skin tones, this palette is ideal for you.

Bloom + Glow Brush Set

Bloom + Glow Brush Set

Sigma Beauty is known for its top-of-the-range brushes. Many prefer them to MAC, and well, MAC is at the top of the game so that puts things into perspective.

Not only do many prefer the quality, but everyone prefers the price. Sigma’s brushes aren’t hugely cheaper, but they will still save you quite a bit.

Sigma brushes are soft to use, blend amazingly and don’t shed. They also wash like a charm retaining their shape perfectly! To sum it up, they are brushes you can’t go wrong with!

When you put amazing brushes with beautiful rose gold packaging, well…it doesn’t really get better than that! The Bloom + Glow Brush Set comes with 3 brushes- all the brushes you need to create the perfect contour and blush look.

The 3 brushes included are the: F92- Blush Brush, the F53- Air Contour and the Blush Soft Blend 60. These 3 brushes have a total value of $93 but are being sold for $65, a real bargain for good quality brushes! If you still aren’t convinced, all Sigma brushes come with a 2-year guarantee- they know their quality!

The matching rose gold makeup bag is the cherry on top. It’s the perfect size for the makeup brushes, plus a few small extras. Ideal for taking along with you on travels, or simply for storing makeup.

My Thoughts

Sigma Beauty Cor De Rosa Extended Collection is a must-have for anyone who loves the Cor De Rosa Eyeshadow palette. I am more obsessed with the brushes than the blush palette, simply because I think the shades of the blush palette are all too dark for me.

However, overall, it’s an impressive palette that is beautiful on the outside and inside, you just gotta have the correct skin shade!

What are your thoughts on the new additions to the Cor De Rosa collection? Have you tried the eyeshadow palette? Is the new makeup additions a must-have for you? Let me know in the comment section below.
