Huda Beauty Rose Quartz Collection Is Here!

Introducing the Huda Beauty Rose Quartz Collection! It’s a stunning collection full of beautiful and useful makeup, including a dazzling eyeshadow palette as well as a lip product and a highlighter.

The colouring is all based on the rose quartz stone, which is pale pink in colour. However, it’s the meaning behind the rose quartz that was Huda’s inspiration!

Before we get into the actual collection, here’s a little background on the Rose Quartz Collection, and the inspiration for it. Huda dedicated this whole collection to self-love, something that she struggled with for years.

After placing many rose quartz stones around her house and feeling their calming, positive effect Huda decided she needs to share them with the world. And from that, the Rose Quartz Collection was born!

I love things that empower women and bring calm and serenity into our lives, but aside from that, the colour of the rose quartz is stunning, and a whole collection dedicated to it is just ahh!

Rose Quartz Eyeshadow Palette

Starting off with the most exciting release in the collection- the breathtaking Rose Quartz Eyeshadow Palette! My first reaction when seeing this palette was that it looks identical to the Naughty Nude Eyeshadow Palette, which was released a year ago to date.

The vibe is definitely similar, but on closer inspection, the shades are completely different. You can tell they’re made of the same brand, which I guess is a good thing! Huda’s made her stamp in the eyeshadow palette world!

The Naughty Nude Palette has warm, deeper and richer colours than the Rose Quartz palette. The Rose Quartz Palette is based on the rose quartz stone so the colours are softer and calmer and they are cool-based. Both palettes have 18 shades, as well as a unique ‘crushed stone’ shade.

The Rose Quartz palette is the perfect palette for creating a glowing, soft wintery look. It has 8 mattes, 3 high-shine metallics, 3 pearly, soft-shine metallics, 3 multi-shimmer marbles and 1 crushed stone pearly gloss hybrid.

I simply love the colour combination of the palette and it’s ideal for cool-toned skin like mine. The main colour is baby pink, but it has some grey, gold and purple touches too. Start healing with this self-love-inspired palette!

Rose Quartz Face Gloss Highlighting Dew

You probably won’t want to use this highlighter for the simple reason that it’s too pretty to use, I mean, just look at it!

If you love the shade Slippery from the Naughty Nude Palette, then this highlighter is the answer to your dreams! Because, yes, Slippery is back, except it’s bigger and better!

This time, it’s in the form of a highlighter. The multi-use Rose Quartz Face Gloss Highlighting Dew is infused with warm pink and gold champagne pearl drops to give your skin the ultimate dream glow!

When it comes to skincare, I am slightly pickier, simply because, well, it’s your skin’s health we’re talking about. I am generally not wowed by designer skincare, I believe in simple skincare products with basic straightforward ingredients.

It just makes more sense to me! However, that being said, this is a face mask and it doesn’t get absorbed into the skin so it can’t have too many negative effects.

The Rose Quartz Lift & Glow Peel-Off Face Mask is designed to lift, brighten, tighten & smooth your skin while unclogging your pores. That sure is a lot of claims. It has some impressive ingredients to boast about, like hyaluronic acid, lotus flower and watermelon.

It may not be all that bad, and perhaps my previous negative experiences will be unfound here. However, that being said, for the price of this face mask you can buy one where you know that it will for sure have positive effects on your skin. Probably for a cheaper price too! It’s a nice touch and who doesn’t love a pretty journal? Writing in a journal daily is extremely healthy and definitely something that I wish I would do regularly!

My Thoughts

Huda Beauty Rose Quartz Collection is a gorgeous collection inspired by something that’s close to all our hearts. When you’re younger, loving yourself is so easy, but once you get older so do negativity and real-life failures.

Sometimes all we need is a little love from the person we get it least from ourselves! I love the message and I love the collection!

As an eyeshadow palette lover, especially for neutral colours, the Rose Quartz Eyeshadow Palette is my favourite product in the collection, followed closely by the highlighter. Pretty, neutral colours- it doesn’t get better than that!
