Summertime is the ideal time for glowing skin! Although if you live in the UK like me, it feels a lot like the beginning of winter, not the end of spring.
Nevertheless, hopefully, we will get some more summer this year. And when we do we will need our highlighters on deck!
I have put together a few of the top-rated highlighters that will give you a gorgeous summer glow, and if we don’t get our summer then these highlighters will do a fab job faking it for you!
Top Rated Highlighters for the Perfect Summer Glow
The Iconic London Illuminator Drops are some of my all-time favourite highlighters! They are available in 4 different colours, each one perfect for a different skin tone.
What I love most about these highlighters is that they can be added to your regular makeup. You can add one drop to your foundation, moisturiser or primer for a more subtle effect or you can apply it alone for a brilliant glow.
It gives the most amazing dewy finish and the shimmer is incredible! The bottles last for a really long time because each drop is so highly pigmented!
Use a liquid highlighter in the summer months for an extra dewy look. It blends into the skin easier and you can use it alone without foundation too!

The Diorskin Air Luminizer Powder is super pretty and exudes luxury, which is something you can expect from Dior!
Dior Diorskin Nude Air Luminizer Powder comes in 4 colours but my favourite is the nude one- the colour is breathtaking!
The highlighter is lightweight and airy so you don’t feel like you’re wearing anything at all and it applies flawlessly. It’s made to go perfectly with every skin tone and from the looks of it, I can imagine it does.
If you haven’t noticed check out how it says nude air embossed on the highlighter! I love cutesy details like these, it adds a cool factor to the highlighter:)
It comes with a small brush that helps to apply the highlighter perfectly.
The Hourglass Ambient Lighting Palette features three shades of Ambient Lighting Powder in one palette. All three shades have a natural-like reflection giving the skin a gorgeous, natural-looking glow.
Areas that are naturally hit by light gets caught and the warmer tones shades help subdue any unwanted shine, never making one look overly shiny or theatrically made up.
It has fancy Photoluminescent Technology that filters out harsh light and refines the appearance of the complexion by using high-tech, soft-focus finishing powders.
The powders can be used individually or layered for a multidimensional glow. It’s an award-winning highlighting palette that’s lightly pigmented and very finely milled, helping you achieve a beautiful finish to any look.
The Too Faced Diamond Light Multi-Use Highlighter is a one-of-a-kind highlighter that’s infused with real crushed diamond powder and light-reflecting pearls.
The finishing effects exceed better magic than your average duo-toned product. It creates a rainbow-like glow and lights up your complexion.
I wouldn’t even call it a highlighter. I think it needs a new name, like a Radiant powder, perhaps you can think of a more original name! The skin’s reflection when wearing this highlighter can very well be compared to a diamond’s glow.
It’s also a custom highlighter that can be used anywhere. The formula starts out as a hand-poured liquid that becomes a pressed powder. This ensures that no two highlighters will ever look the same- just like a real diamond! I love that!
Do you love a dazzling highlighter? Then you’ll love the Liquid KillaWatt highlighter! It gives the skin a brilliant shine, that’s buildable and transfer-resistant.
The highlighter blends seamlessly into the skin, giving it an ultra-natural look that’s perfect for the summer months!
You know those highlighters that sort of sit on top of the skin looking somewhat detached, well, you won’t have that problem with the new Liquid KillaWatt highlighter. Once blended, it looks at one with your skin, giving it a natural glow and making it perfect for the summer months!
Fenty Beauty Liquid KillaWatt Fluid Freestyle Highlighter comes in a lovely classy tube packaging with each tube being the colour of the highlighter.
It’s available in 5 pretty shades for all skin colours. From very a light gold to a gorgeous bronze, it covers the very pale as well as deep skin shades.
The Liquid KillaWatt Fluid Freestyle Highlighter is lovely in that way because it starts off subtle and is buildable if you want more. It gives the skin a lovely radiant glow that blends in seamlessly without it looking overdone.
Although the Natasha Denona Glam Face Palette is not only a highlighter, it’s included in this highlighter post because nowadays everyone loves one product for all their makeup needs!
It’s an all-inclusive palette for your face and eyes. The palette features 5 neutral eyeshadow shades and 2 highlighter shades for the face.
Makeup is so versatile nowadays that eye products can be used on your face and visa-versa! I love this new approach and more and more brands are adopting it. Multi-functional is the way forward and the Glam Face Palette is exactly that!
The Glam Face Palette comes in 2 options, a lighter palette and a darker one. The 2 palettes are versatile and suitable for all skin shades and tones. It comes with a large highlighter pan for a dazzling summer shimmer!
We are spoilt for choice when it comes to the many highlighters to choose from! Getting a gorgeous summer glow has never been easier. These highlighters are all top quality, and with the price range, there’s something for everyone!
