Glitter mask Firming Treatment

The New GlamGlow Glitter Mask Firming Treatment

What could be more fun than a mask which has glitter in it?! I have never thought that a mask could be pretty, but hey, the new GlamGlow Glitter Mask has proven that its possible! One of the things I love most is that it has put the fun back into skincare. So often it becomes a boring chore, which then makes it easier to neglect (I’m good at that!). However, when it has the fun factor in it, it sure changes things.

What is the New GlamGlow Glitter Mask

new glamglow glitter mask

The new GlamGlow Glitter Mask is based on the original GlamGlow GravityMud Firming Treatment, which is one of the coolest masks around. It starts off as a white cream which you apply to your face and it dries chrome! The Glitter Mask has the same formula and all the same benefits as the original GravityMud mask with the added glitter. You may be wondering what’s the advantage of the glitter? Purely for the fun of it! It doesn’t benefit the skin but it does look ultra cool.

After just one use you skin should feel firmer and more defined. The mask contains liquorice extract and hyaluronic acid. Liquorice extract has proven to reduce the appearance of eczema and helps with hyper pigmentation. Hyaluronic acid is a skin firmer which binds the moisture into the skin.

Does the glitter hurt?

The first thought that crossed my mind when I heard of the glitter mask is that it must hurt, or at least feel very uncomfortable with all those big stars in the mask. However, honestly I didn’t feel them at all. This is probably due to the texture of the mask.

How to use the GlamGlow Glitter Mask

Apply an even amount to your skin with the brush that comes with the mask. Be generous with the amount you apply and avoid your eyes and eyebrows. Wait 20-30 minutes until it is completely dry. It may feel a little tingly while it dries, but this is normal. Once its dry gently peel it off. Use the mask twice a week, after each use make sure you wash the brush with soap properly.

What I love about the Glitter Mask

I love how easy the mask was to peel off. My usual experience is that there is slight discomfort in peeling them off, however, with the Glitter Mask it was painless and it all came off in one go. If yours doesn’t come off as easily then rinse your face with warm water and it will come off without a problem. I also love how the mask didn’t pull out any facial hairs, I honestly hate it when masks do that.

The Glitter Mask left my face glowing and it definitely felt firmer too. I love it when a mask makes my skin feel fresh and clean and the Glitter Mask did exactly that!

The Negatives

The only negative I can think of is that the container is pretty small for the price it costs. The mask retails for £42 and the container is only 50g. I don’t think I would be able to get more than 8-10 uses from it. So yes, it’s pricey but apart from that I really genuinely like it. It fun to use and looks so pretty on.

Hollie xx

  1. It’s the first time i hear of a Glitter mask!
When i read the title my first though was “it must be uncomfortable” but i’m glad you cleared my doubts right away.
I do think is a bit pricey, but there is nothing wrong with spoiling ourselves once in a while.
Thanks for sharing the info, love it!

    1. Its a cute product and would make the perfect gift! I agree, it is a little pricey and that is a shame!

  2. Thanks Hollie for an insight into this great looking face mask. I was of the same opinion as yourself that it is so easy to just neglect our skin care regime and I am very guilty of doing this also.

The thought that I could use a face mask and glitter at the same time made this product sound unique and exciting as well, as fun at the same time.

I like the fact that you get a brush with it for putting it on your skin and then you can just sit and peel it off without having to go and wash it off elsewhere.

Do you need to get it online or is it available in any shops?

    1. It’s a fun product, that helps our skin at the same time! Win-win!

Its available both online and in most Boots shops. You can check their website to see if they have it in stock in a shop near you.

      Have a lovely weekend:)
