Pat McGrath Labs Launches a Bridgerton Makeup Collection

posted in: Makeup | 0

If you’ve watched Bridgerton, then you know that this is an exciting release that even Lady Whistledown would report! Ever since Bridgerton was aired on Netflix, we’ve all wanted a piece of Bridgeton. It’s definitely a fantasy world, but now you can get your very own piece of it with Pat McGrath’s stunning, limited edition Bridgerton Collection!

Pat McGrath Labs x Bridgerton

Before we get into the collection, can you think of a more appropriate brand to bring out a Bridgerton collection than Pat McGrath?! Pat McGrath Labs is the ideal makeup brand to collaborate with Bridgerton. They’re all about class and luxury, which is how I would define Bridgerton too! So yes, it seems like a very appropriate collaboration!

So what’s in the collection? The royal collection comes with 3 limited edition pieces: a new Mothership Eye Blush Palette, Divine Blush + Glow Trio and 2 individual highlighters.

Mthrshp: Diamond Of The First Water

Starting off with the best, because no product really beats an eyeshadow palette, especially a new Mothership one! Even if it’s a limited edition. The palette really sums up the whole Regency Era with its elegance, elaborate packaging and blue and purple colouring.

Diamond Of The First Water eyeshadow palette comes with 6 regal shades that can be used on your eyes or cheeks. I love makeup that it’s multi-functional, it makes it all the more worth buying, and you end up feeling a lot less guilty! You gotta love the embossed symbols on the matte eyeshadows. Two of the shades feature a bee, which became a symbol in Bridgerton and the third matte shade features Lady Wistledown’s silhouette. Who wasn’t intrigued by the mysterious Lady Wistledown? I went ahead and read the rest of the books to find out who was behind the controversial, yet loved newspaper!

The shades are:

MTHRSHP: Diamond of the First Water
‘ICONIC INGENUE’ – Opalescent Pink Champagne Highlighter
‘ART OF THE SWOON’ – Pastel Pink Satin-Matte
‘REGENCY BLUE’ – Iridescent Blue Astral
‘PLUM REGALIA’ – Velvety Plum Taupe Matte
‘DUCHESS DIVINITY’ – Pink Platinum Metallic
‘LOVE MATCH’ – Rose Berry Satin-Matte

Divine Blush + Glow Trio: Love At First Blush

Almost identical in packaging to the eyeshadow palette is this gorgeous blush and highlighter palette. It comes with 2 blush shades are one highlighter. Both blush shades are embossed with beautiful roses which I’m not sure I would want to ruin!

The shades are:

‘NYMPHETTE’ – Soft Pink With Golden Pearl
‘CHERISH’ – Neutral Pink Demi-Matte

Skin Fetish: Sublime Skin Highlighter

Get bedazzled with these 2 stunning shades of highlighter. The Regency inspired highlighter comes in a yellow gold and a white shimmer. Both shades are lovely, but the yellow gold is more suited to dark skin and the white shade for light skin.

The shades are:

‘XREME GOLD 002’- Yellow Gold

‘INCANDESCENT GOLD 002’ – Sparkling Platinum Gold

My Thoughts

Pat McGrath Labs collaboration with Bridgerton is definitely one of the most exciting collaborations this year! We’ve had loads of Disney ones, and even Friends, but well, Birdgerton is Bridgerton! From the elegance of the packaging to the beautiful shade choices, it’s a collection that I can imagine many will buy just to collect. Although those embossed shades are far too pretty to ruin! The only downside to Pat McGrath makeup is the price. They are top-of-the-range, but at least you know you’re getting top quality with it!

Pat McGrath Labs x Bridgerton will be available from 26/12/21 at Pat McGrath and hopefully soon at Sephora
