Morphe The James Charles Palette Review
Introducing Morphe The James Charles Palette, a collaboration between Morphe and James Charles and it features the brightest, most vibrant colors. If you love your rainbows, you’ll love this palette!
James Charles is a quite famous Youtuber known for his talented makeup. Aside from being extremely talented at makeup, he is a breath of fresh air!
Morphe The James Charles Palette

Colourful makeup certainly has a wow factor! Morphe The James Charles Palette has every colour of the rainbow, plus all the essential colours that you need for an everyday look.
Personally, I’m more of a neutral girl, but I did love trying out this palette. There’s something in it for everyone and there are plenty of neutral shades too.
Before I begin to talk about the inside of the palette, can we just talk about the packaging for a minute?! The palette comes in a white box with a picture of James on it featuring him wearing the makeup, totally beautiful, sisters!
Once you open the box, the outside of the palette is sleek and black, I love the black-and-white contrast, it’s very effective and very suitable for the palette. It’s all very calm and neutral, that is until you open it up… then BAM!
The palette is bright and out there, anyone who likes bright colours will appreciate this palette!
The Colours & Swatches
The James Charles palette comes with 39 fabulous swatches. There is a combination of mattes, metallics and shimmers as well as every colour under the sun. From the blues to the pinks and oranges to reds. This palette has a bit of everything!
The colours are all highly pigmented. Now I know there has been a lot of talk about how James double-swatched some of the colours on his video of the palette to make them appear more pigmented.
So firstly sisters, calm down! He isn’t the first or the last to do this and it doesn’t mean his palette isn’t good! My take on this is that the colours are highly pigmented. Just check out those blues!
Yes, it’s true that some colours are better pigmented than others but hello, this isn’t a perfect world, and even the colours that aren’t as strongly pigmented are still awesome and only need a double swatch.
In all, the colours are beautiful, they are super creamy and they apply seamlessly. I don’t get so bothered if a colour here and there needs some extra applying, you will have this in every palette. I guarantee you.
The shades have very little fallout which makes them so much easier to use!
My Thoughts
Is the Morphe James Charles Palette worth it? It depends on your needs and your eyeshadow game.
There is such a huge selection of colours and it is so easy to use, but on the other hand, if you never use bright shades, you won’t get much use out of this palette.
The amount of looks that can be created from this palette alone is endless, and if you’re stuck for inspiration just check out James’s youtube channel or Instagram. He has a ton of
Morphe The James Charles Palette has unfortunately been discontinued. If you love rainbow eyeshadow palettes, check out ColourPop’s 30 pan Matte About Hue Eyeshadow Palette!

He is great, his personality and all!
Have a lovely day:)
Wow, the colors in this palette are absolutely stunning. Do I like color, yes, yes I do, and it’s really not that easy to find palettes with such vibrant colors as these. Absolutely stunning. OMG James Charles is an absolute hoot and so gorgeous. Those lips! I loved everything about this article. Whoot!
You’re right, palettes with colours like these are hard to come by!
Thanks for stopping by:)
When I was younger I used to use all these colorful shades and more, but now as I am nearing my fifties, I prefer the more toned down look and go for more natural shades.
However, I love to watch James and his tutorials on Utube and he is very creative in his approach. I would never have the guts to carry some of the looks off, but he also has wonderful ideas for stage makeup which I am always looking for to apply to our school concerts.
I can totally relate!
However, this palette sure is fun!
HI there,
I was searching on the net makeup for my daughter, she needs a new set. The James Charles palettes seem to be beautiful. Does it look shiny on the skin? My daughter loves the mat colors:) I have bookmarked your website so I can show it to my daughter later on. Thank you for this excellent post!
The shimmery colours look shiny and the others don’t!
I’m sure your daughter will love it!
Higher percentage of we ladies or women use make-ups. And this colourful James Charles pallette is something we women should have to add to the collections we already have. This is going to look lovely on my face. I am making an order for this colourful pallette. Thanks for sharing this article, it is really cool.
Hollie,Your site is absolutely stunning. It simply exudes your passion, creativity and dedication. What a wonderful way to demonstrate to your beautiful family that anything is possible.I chose to comment on this article because thinning hair is a problem from which I suffer. I never really thought about diet having an effect on hair loss. I certainly did not know that there is a right and a wrong way to brush your hair. I am 52 years young. My hair is about shoulder length, fine and naturally curly (I deal with constant frizz due to the humidity where I live). It comes out in droves every time I wash or brush. I just imagined that this was normal but your insight has given me some food for thought. I have never really been big on makeup, preferring the natural look, but I do wear it from time to time on special occasions. A little lipstick and a little blush makes the world of difference sometimes. My skin care regimen is a little lackluster as well. I do not have a particular routine but I do use apricot scrub (St. Ives) regularly as well as some sort of toner (I like clinique-clarifying toner) and moisturizer (oil of Olay). I love to pamper myself in the bath. I am a huge fan of aromatherapy. I should own stock in Bath & Body Works. Have you tried their sleep, energy, or stress relief products? Ahhh….. they smell so good. And speaking of smells, I stumbled across your review of Jimmy Choo, nice. My go to in the fragrance department is Touch by Burberry. I also love Victoria Secret’s Very Sexy. Exploring your site today was a pleasure. It was really nice to come to a place packed with useful tips, helpful information and great products. Thank you for all of the hard work and hours you have put in to bring this to women everywhere. Blessings to you and your loved ones,Julie
