Flower power! Yup, that’s what the new MAC Cosmetics collection is all about. The Botanic Panic Collection is filled with beautiful makeup that’s inspired by your favourite flowers. And my goodness, it’s absolutely stunning!
Perfect for the summer, this collection will get anyone in the mood to go out and enjoy the sun.
The Botanic Panic Collection
If there’s anything that will lift my spirits on a dull day, it’s flowers and of course, makeup! Combine the two and you have this beautiful Botanic Panic Collection. One of the things I love most about MAC Cosmetics collections is that they’re not stingy with the products they include.
Included in the Botanic Panic Collection, there is an impressive 12-pan eyeshadow palette, 5 lipsticks, a blush and a highlighter.
The collection is inspired by summer flowers like poppies, petunia, sunflowers, lilacs and roses, which are seen throughout the collection.
MAC know how to do their packaging and the Botanic Panic collection is proof of that! It’s hard not to fall in love with a collection that has such a stunning collection. A makeup collectors’ must-have!
Botanic Panic Eyeshadow Palette
The Botanic Panic Eyeshadow Palette is everything you can imagine from a palette inspired by flowers. Bright, colourful and summery!
It has a really cheerful vibe to it, and that’s something we can all do with post-lockdown! The shades feature pinks, purples, blues and golds with a mixture of shimmers and mattes.
The shades are:
- Keep on Twinkling: Light pink with pearl
- Jam Session: Cool purple
- Magic Mushroom: Warm mid-tone purple
- Aqua: Seafoam
- Magnetic Field: Green gold
- Royal Woo: Bright yellow
- Picnic Panic: Lime green
- Surf USA: Turquoise blue-green
- Marigold Digger: Warm gold
- Botanic Panic: Peachy red
- Floral A Go Go: Coppery pink
- All Thorns, No Rose: Orange
Botanic Panic Lipstick
The Botanic Panic lipstick comes in 5 shades. Forget-Me-Naughty is a matte lilac, Tulip Service is a matte peach red, La-Di-Dahlia is a matte pink, Ruby Woo is a retro matte red and last but not least is Skew which is a frost coral pink.
All of the lipsticks are inspired by a different flower and the shades resemble the flower too. Well, to some extent anyway! Like all MAC lipsticks, you can expect the best quality without any compromise!
MAC lipsticks are easy to apply and blend, have intense pigmentation and have amazing staying powers. I’m sure the Botanic Panic lipsticks are no exception.
Oh, and the packaging! I know I’ve already mentioned how beautiful it is, but seriously, each and every product is more beautiful than the one before. I am obsessed with the packaging and how bright and uplifting it is!
These lipsticks would definitely make keepers on display on my makeup vanity. (First I need to get a vanity, but when I do…;))
Botanic Panic Extra Dimension Skinfinish
If you’re a fan of MAC makeup, then you’re probably already familiar with their timeless bestselling Extra Dimension Skinfinish. It’s a liquid-powder highlighter to give you the ultimate glow and that lasts for up to 10 hours!
The highlighter comes in 7 shades, and MAC Cosmetics has treated us by adding another 2 limited edition shades! I do love treats like these:)
The new Skinfinish shades are Fleur Sure- a light gold highlighter and Royal Flush- a shimmery blush. Both are beautiful summery shades that are perfect for the summer months. But, in all honesty, it’s the packaging that once again steals the show!
The Botanic Panic Collection is a makeup collector’s dream! It features useful makeup that’s also beautiful. Do I need to mention the packaging again?!
If you have a makeup vanity, the Botanic Panic Collection will complete it perfectly! Just looking at the makeup will bring joy into your life! Can you tell that I love flowers? What’s your favourite piece from the collection?
