Linda Hallberg Cosmetics New Golden 20s Palette & Primer

Linda Hallberg Cosmetics New Golden 20´s Palette & Primer

If you aren’t familiar with Linda Hallberg Cosmetics, here’s a little intro. She started her company back in 2016 and since then, she has won multiple awards for her makeup.

Her motto is to think outside the box and that you don’t need a thousand products to create multiple makeup looks. This led to her fabulous multi-use vegan products where one product has multiple uses, saving space, money and time!

Linda Hallberg Golden 20’s Collection

Her latest release is her new Golden 20’s eyeshadow palette along with a crease-no-more eyeshadow primer. The Golden 20’s eyeshadow palette is her very first neutral palette. But, of course, it is not only for eyeshadow.

The shades can be used for the cheeks and the lips the same. No Linda Hallberg product is complete without it being a multi-use product! And on that, I have to say how much I love a product that can multitask.

It makes travel so much easier, not that anyone’s travelling much at the moment. But it also is the perfect palette to take with you on the go, it can fit into your handbag and you’ve got all your makeup, there, in one palette!

The palette comes with 12 creamy and soft shades. There are 5 mattes, 1 semi-matte, 4 shimmers and 2 sparkling shadows.

The palette is in red packaging with a floral design that looks like it’s inspired by the 1920s art deco period. Which of course makes sense, the Golden 20’s is inspired by the 1920s and the colours and shades reflect that period in life.

Golden 20's swatches

The colours are:

High-hat: Pastel peach (matte)

Bee’s knees: Warm chocolate brown (matte)

Swanky: Dark warm champagne (shimmer)

Garbo: Gold with silver sparkles (shimmer/sparkling)

Darb: Copper red with multi sparkles (shimmer/sparkling)

Rhatz!: Light brown greige, (matte)

Cat’s Meow!: Golden Brown (shimmer)

Applesauce!: Off white with a yellow undertone (matte)

Hotsy-Totsy: Rosé (shimmer)

Whoopee: Cool champagne (shimmer)

Phonus Balonus!: Cool deep brown (matte)

Let’s Blouse!: Off white (semi-matte)

I really like the look of the palette- obviously! I love my neutrals and this palette is beautiful! The colours are a combination of beige, and brown with some pink and a touch of red.

Linda Hallberg’s makeup is known to be of excellent quality with highly pigmented shades so I’m sure the Golden 20´s Palette is no different!

Onto the eyeshadow primer! I’m a firm believer in using eyeshadow primers! Even when I wear only eyeliner, without eyeshadow, I always apply my primer first or my eyeliner smudges onto my eyelids- not a pretty sight!

Not everyone has as greasy eyelids as I have, but if you do, using an eye primer is a must! It’s been a complete lifesaver for me and my makeup!

Before I started using one, every time I went out I was extremely self-conscious that my makeup would smudge. With an eyeshadow primer that worry is a thing of the past! It’s given me newfound confidence and I love it!

Till The End Eyeshadow Primer

So you can imagine, when I heard about a new eyeshadow primer, I sure was excited! The Till The End Eyeshadow Primer helps intensify the eyeshadow colour and helps the eyeshadow applies smoothly and evenly.

Made for those with oily eyelids in mind, this primer will keep your eyelids crease-free the whole day plus some more! Aside from the primer helping your makeup stay on longer and better, it also has long-term benefits.

Infused with the active ingredients of Marine Lavender Extract it helps smooth and lift your eyelids. Sounds good to me!

Of course, no Linda Hallberg product is complete without it being multi-use and the eyeshadow primer is no exception. For those with oily skin apply the primer to your face for a matte finish that will last! The primer is transparent so it won’t affect your makeup in any way.

Both the palette and eyeshadow primer are vegan, cruelty-free and dermatologically tested.

My Thoughts

Linda Hallberg’s New Golden 20’s collection looks like a great addition to any makeup collection! My favourite part is that the palette is multi-functional.

I love when I get good value for money and this palette is exactly that! Using one palette for your, eyes, cheek and lips is genius, and although in theory, you can use any palette for multiple uses, this one was made for it! This makes that bit better and I just love the concept!

Even without the multi-use function of the palette, the Golden 20’s palette would still be a hard palette to pass on. The neutral shades are simply stunning and let’s be real, I’m not one to pass on a neutral palette!

As for the eyeshadow primer, it’s a product I want to try out sooner rather than later! With its short-term and long-term benefits, it sounds like a winning product! Although I’d probably only use it for my eyes, not for my face.

  1. I’m not really into makeup that much but I love that the Linda Hallberg products have multi uses. For a start it will save me having loads of different products in my bag but it also it shows that they’re not just trying to make money releasing lots of different products. A beauty company that cares about the environment, and the fact that it’s vegan is just the cherry on top. Really nice colours as well.

    1. Her products are worth getting to know!
