GUCCI Poudre De Beauté Éclat Soleil Bronzing Powder

The GUCCI Poudre De Beauté Éclat Soleil Bronzing Powders bronzing powders are described as a thin-film formula that is light and easy to apply with an integrated applicator.

Designed to deliver a luminous finish and a natural glow while blurring fine lines and pores. They’re extremely luxurious, and naturally, expensive too.

The bronzers and the rest of the collection feature artisan-quality aquatic teal-coloured packaging. It’s a new look for Gucci and a contrast from the usual pastel pink and nude packaging.

Surprisingly, the bronzer is really bulky, because it also houses a custom applicator nestled under the powder. It can be accessed by lifting the powder case, it’s a really cute brush and a nice addition.

Obviously, GUCCI is written wherever they can find the space, from the outside to the inside to the actual brush! summer collection looks exceptionally unique. It makes a stunning addition to a vanity table!

Poudre De Beauté Éclat Soleil Bronzing Powder Shades

The GUCCI Poudre De Beauté Éclat Soleil Bronzing Powder is available in five shades to suit a general range of skin tones:

  • 01 Fair – dusty coral with a slightly warm red undertone
  • 02 Light – light chestnut brown with a cool red undertone
  • 03 Medium – oak brown with a warm red undertone
  • 04 Tan – tawny brown with a neutral red undertone
  • 05 Dark – cinnamon brown with a cool red undertone

I’ve got shade 01 (fair) which is a dusty coral-brown colour. These bronzers lean toward red undertones and can look too warm and even orangey if not applied with care.

Generally, I don’t suit bronzers that have red and orange undertones, my skin is too pale and they make me resemble something similar to a clown. Let’s see how these GUCCI bronzers fare on pale skin!

Application & Formula

GUCCI beauty products are known to be heavily fragranced and these bronzing powders are no different. When I opened the cardboard packaging, I could immediately smell the heavy floral scent.

This makes it a product I wouldn’t normally use every day, as I prefer to use fragrance-free products. Judging from the ingredients list, the fragrance is the eighth major component. It’s essentially on top of the list which should make those with sensitive skin a little wary of it.

What’s something to note is that when the powder is applied to the skin, the fragrance becomes faint. It’s the type of scent that doesn’t sit on your skin.

The bronzing powders supposedly smooth away imperfections while giving the skin a natural bronze. On the actual test, the powder feels very sensational. It’s fine and creamy, and the texture feels like expensive authentic silk. I love the sheen and gloss-like finish of the bronzer, it has a very natural uncakey look to it.

With a dense bronzing brush, two taps of the product already show pigment on the skin. Its finish looks seamless and has a subtle luminous sheen. The powder is blendable and spreads on the skin evenly.

One thing I can confirm is that this bronzer is luxury all the way! From first glance to the first touch, it’s a cut above other brands! And when it’s applied to the skin, the calibre of the product becomes even more obvious.

I tried to use the applicator that came with the brush, but it didn’t do the best job of contouring the cheeks and face. It is however useful when bronzing the nose and other smaller areas. It’s a cute touch, but I personally prefer to use my own.

The GUCCI Poudre De Beauté Éclat Soleil Bronzing Powder has impressive staying powers. It stays in place and doesn’t patch or melt away even on hotter days. I’ve also noticed that it fades evenly and doesn’t leave any wet powdery residue.

The colour of the shade I have is nice but when comparing it to my Charlotte Tilbury Filmstar Bronze & Glow, it just doesn’t quite live up to it. The Charlotte Tilbury bronzer looks much more natural on the skin, in colour and finish. Although, the finish is a personal preference.

That being said, for those who aren’t as pale as a ghost, the GUCCI bronzers would look fab! The colours are really beautiful, the only problem is that they’re not made with the extremely pale in mind.

My Thoughts

I love the GUCCI Poudre De Beauté Éclat Soleil Bronzing Powder. While it’s incredibly expensive for what it is, its quality is not a scam. The packaging and texture feel very luxurious and the bronzers apply easily and look beautiful.

Would I buy it again? Probably not, since the shade isn’t exactly up my street. But since it’s already here, I am enjoying showing it off, especially on my dressing table!

  1. Oh! Surely a very surreal beauty you have added here. I must say that I really like what you have explained here about the Gucci poured de beaute. Actually I like the fact that this is really good and can really help a lot with the face patching which is very good. Other than that, I love the fact that you have given a very great overview to this product. Good review here
