How to get rid of dark circles around your eyes

Do you wake up in the morning hating those black circles under you eyes?! You’re not alone! When I see my eyes in the morning it honestly makes me feel tired:) There are many different methods on how to get rid of dark circles around your eyes. I am going to share with you the methods that I find work best for me and I hope they will help you.

1. Cucumbers

Most people know this method of placing cucumbers on your closed eyes for 10 minutes. It really works! Cucumbers sooth and refresh your skin. To have a more cooling effect keep the cucumbers in the fridge before use.

 

2. Rose Water

Soak cotton wool pads into rose water and then place on your eyes for around 20 minutes. This is one of the most effective natural ways in how to get rid of dark circles around your eyes. This is because rose water is full of nutrients so it soaks up all the toxins in your skin. Rose water is also great if you have irritated and sensitive eyes. It calms and soothes them.

 

Almond Oil3. Almond Oil

Before going to bed at night massage a small amount of almond oil around your eyes. This will help with the circulation around your eyes. Do this for around 10 days and you will notice a difference.

 

4. Grated Potatoes

Potatoes have many magical powers that most people don’t know about. They are filled with vitamins and enzymes that cure and revive then skin. They soak up all the toxins in your skin. For under your eyes leave it on for 10-15 minutes.

(As a side point if you ever burn yourself- even a serious burn this is the BEST way to help your burn. It’s better than water and it’s even better than what hospitals do. Grate potatoes and place it on your burn. Change the potatoes every 20 minutes. Because potatoes soak up toxins they literally work miracles on burns. Give it a try because you won’t regret it!)

 

5. Tea Bags

Place two tea bags in water for about 5 minutes. The best tea to use is chamomile tea, if you don’t have any will do. Place them on your eyes for 10 to 15 minutes.

 

6. Drink More Water

Not having enough water in your body can cause dark circles around your eyes. On average a person should try to drink eight 8-ounce cups of fluid daily. Obviously the amount varies per person and it depends on the climate but this is the general rule.

 

7. Sleep

This is a pretty obvious way in how to get rid of dark circles around your eyes.However, we all know this is a lot e
asier said than done. We’re all busy people and getting an extra 10 minutes sleep probably brings a smile to your face, never
mind the extra hour that you probably should be getting;)

Often people with dark circles are lacking in Vitamin C and Vitamin E. Before you go to sleep at night, apply these creams to reduce the swelling around your eyes.

 

Many people have dark circles around their eyes because it’s genetic!

While all these methods should help, using a good concealer and good products will assist even more. Below are some great products to help you banish those dark circles.

    Great article, I have picked up a lot of useful, cost friendly ways to reduce the black around my eyes. I do have a question, when it comes to using the tea bag method (my favorite tea is chamomile as well), does it matter the temperature of the water that I sit the tea bags in?

    Wow these 8 tips are great for getting rid of dark under eye circles. I would have never even thought of some of these ones like number 4! Potatoes that’s crazy that many natural things can work and you don’t always need expensive chemilcally products to help with skin issues and things like this.
