Elemis Peptide4 Review – The Key to Looking Rested

If you do a survey and ask people if they get enough sleep at night, most will say they don’t. The fact is, that’s how most of us are, constantly in a race against the clock, and sleep is usually the first thing to go.

Well, the Elemis Peptide4 is to the rescue! With some magic the Elemis Peptide4 makes your skin look like you’ve slept 8 hours. If you can’t get the full amount of sleep, at least you can fake it!

I tried out the Peptide Thousand Flower Mask, the Eye Recovery Cream and the Night Recovery Cream Oil. I received them as a gift from Elemis, it was not sponsored and the opinions on here are mine exclusively!

Elemis Peptide4 Skincare

elemis Peptide⁴

The Elemis Peptide4 comes with 4 products. I got to try 3 of them which I was mightily impressed with! You’re probably wondering how these products do their magic. The whole range is inspired by the body’s inner clock and follows its natural triggers.

At night our skin cells naturally renew and repair, when our sleep is interrupted, this affects our skin and the repair cycle gets interrupted too. With the help of Peptide4 which is made from four amino acids, the skin can get its refreshed and revitalised look back.

In addition to the Peptide4 ingredient, Elemis use two flower seed oils made exclusively for them. Night Scented Stock is rich in Omega-3 fatty acids and Vitamin E. Star Avensis is rich in Omega-3 and Omega-6.

Both these oils help the skin to be more hydrated and smoother and they help to reduce lines.

Elemis Peptide4 Review - The Key to Looking Rested

Peptide4 Eye Recovery Cream

This eye cream is pure magic, my only complaint would be that I wish there was more product in the bottle! After only using it a couple of times, the circles under my eyes dramatically reduced.

The whole appearance of my eyes changed to younger and less tired. And that’s after applying only a couple of times. You are supposed to apply it every morning and evening but I’ll be honest with you, I don’t always have the time to do everything in my skincare routine.

So sometimes (more like often), things get skipped! I got into the habit of applying it once a day in the evening and I love the results!

Thousand Flower Mask Night Recovery Cream-Oil Eye Recovery Cream

Peptide4  Night Recovery Cream-Oil

Apply this cream every evening before you go to sleep to see your skin transform. With the Peptide4 Recovery Cream-Oil, the results weren’t as fast as the Eye Recovery Cream. But over a couple of days, I definitely noticed a difference. My skin had a glow and it felt firmer.

One of the things my skin has been suffering from recently is dry skin- it’s probably due to the wintery weather and my skin getting older(: The Peptide4 Night Recovery Cream Oil has really helped with it!

After using it, my skin feels softer and more hydrated and I’m loving it!

Peptide4 Thousand Flower Mask

The first time I used the mask I have to admit my kids got a little shock when they saw me!  The mask is black in colour, something you don’t expect from the pretty purple packaging!

The mask has the softest, buttery texture, which is not what you would expect from a black mask. Somehow my brain automatically associates a black mask with being rougher- possibly because of all the black peel-off masks that are trending now.

Either way, the Thousand Flower Mask is a far cry from those masks. It is super soft and super luxurious.

Apply this once a week and leave it on for 15 minutes. A little tip- be careful when removing the mask so that you don’t ruin any towels. My advice is to use cotton wool pads when cleaning it off, or even better, a black flannel!

Aside from the colour, this is one of my current favourite masks. The mask smells amazing and makes my skin feel so soft and leaves it looking glowing. It’s luxury all the way and has become one of the staples in my skincare routine:)

My Thoughts

The Elemis Peptide4 products are gold! Their only disadvantage is that they are on the pricey side.

The products are generous and the way I see it is that over time it’s cheaper than going to the spa. And trust me, the Peptide4 products feel a lot like going to a spa.

They leave the skin feeling healthier and more hydrated, something that my skin has needed for a long time! My only complaint is that I wish I would have more time in my day so that I can apply them as I should!

  1. Hello Hollie, that was an excellent review about elemis peptide4. Christmas is around the conner and I feel this would be a wonderful opportunity to purchase one of these elemis for my sister. Before buying it, I wanted to buy which one of them is more effective on the skin and helping you sleep comfortably? This way it will help me select the best one. Thanks in advance for the answer.

    1. I haven’t noticed much difference to the quality of my sleep. However, if you are looking to only buy one I would probably say go with the eye or night cream. I can’t say which one of the two because it depends on your sisters skin. If your sister has big bags then the eye cream and if she complains about her skin looking tired I would recommend the night cream. Either way you can’t go too wrong.

Good luck and let me know how you get on!

  2. Thanks for introducing this high quality product.

I am looking online for a possible Christmas gift for my wife. She uses a recovery cream oil or something every night. But here in Thailand and on the country side you don’t find any real good products.

People have to save money and most what is offered is just cheap. I’m glad to see your Elemis are better than that but still not extremely expensive 🙂

    1. It’s an really good product which has made big improvements on my skin. I have just added to the article a link to lookfantastic.com which ships it for free worldwide. Currently they only have the eye and the night cream in stock. But they are totally worth it on their own too:)

  3. This was a great review and I appreciate your time writing it and most of all sharing it, you got me 🙂

I am on the fence for a while to find something which can help me to boost my look, naturally, without using Make-up.

This product “Elemis Peptide4” could be what I am looking for to boost my Look and give my face a fresher facial expression. I am certainly in need of it.

    Thanks you 🙂

    1. Forget using concealer- with the Peptide4 you won’t have to as it does the job! Its really that great:)

      Thanks for stopping by!

  4. Thanks for the review and recommendation. Having a cream that can make my face look like I have had a good night sleep would be really amazing because I am one of those that like to stay awake in the night and when I do try to get some few minutes sleep and wake up in the morning my face would look like a face that scares kids.

I would very much like to try out your recommendations to see how they work.

    1. You sound like me;) Getting sleep is not my best point. At least I have a cream that can pretend I sleep 8 hours a night! Let me know how you like the collection.

  5. Thank you for a great review on these products ,I am looking for a skincare regimen that would renew and hydrate mature facial skin and this product seems like what I am looking for. I am keen to find out how the eye cream would work for me because most of them tend to irritate my eyes and make them teary and itchy.

Do you think buying just one of the products would yield the same results?because buying all may be too pricey and some products need to be used together to achieve the expected results.

    1. The eye cream is definitely worth it on its own. If you have sensitive eyes, I recommend not applying the cream too near your eyes. Apply it just below instead, that way it can’t irritate your eyes, yet it can still give you awesome results.

  6. Thank you for this post. Elemis Peptide4 might just be solution to my problem.

I have been searching for the best remedies for having a “haggard look” when showing up to work as a result of not having enough sleep. We all live very, very busy lives that we often do not have enough time to rest and relax. No matter how I try to hide the puffiness in my eyes with concealer, make up and all that, it’s not enough. I also tried several eye creams but all of them seemed to be effective only during the first few days. Oh I even tried some eye roll on which are quite costly.

I would like to try Elemis Peptide 4 Eye recovery cream but do they ship outside of the US or UK? I am currently based in the Middle East so I’m not sure I can order. Anyway, I will be checking out how to avail of this and will come back in case I will run into some issues in purchasing, thanks a lot.

    1. Getting enough sleep is a problem that most people have! The Peptide4 collection is the quick fix solution.

I have just added a link to lookfantastic.com which ship worldwide for free. They currently only have the Night and Eye cream in stock. However, they are totally worth it on their own too.

Good luck and I hope you love it as much as I do!

  7. This sounds great for women. Does it work for men?

I couldn’t find the ingredients that are in these products in your article. I would really like to know what these formulas are made of so I can decide whether to get this for my wife or not.

Will these products work with all skin types?

Are there any known side effects with these products?

I am 60 years old and have a lot of wrinkles in my face. Do you think this would help me? I would love to try it if it will at least reduce my face wrinkles.

Thank you for this useful information.

    1. I don’t know if it works for men but I don’t see why not. It happens to be just the other night I told my husband he should try out these products because they are so fab. He forgot but I will nag him again and let you know!

The products are for all skin types, I haven’t heard of any side effects with them.

It is supposed to help with wrinkles, but I couldn’t tell you for sure, maybe in a couple of years I could help you with that one;)) It definitely helps with lines.

  8. Wow, very amazing! I like the  fact that the eye cream can repair the fine lines underneath your eyes. Although I never tried those particular products, they seem like the type you would use everyday. My experience with face and skincare products over the years has endured its ups and downs in that some of them worked to a certain extent while others were lacking in quality. But its better to try something. The post was very interesting. Thank you very much for sharing!

    1. Thanks for stopping by:)
