To put it simply, I LOVE ColourPop! Their products are of high quality and they are very affordable. They also have a huge variety of different shades and finishes. I recently ordered quite a few lip products from them and I’m going to share with you my favourite ones in this ColourPop lipstick reviews.
Before I begin my ColourPop lipstick review let me explain a bit about ColourPop products. There are 5 different types of lip wear which all have different finishes. All of the finishes dry really nicely leaving you with smooth lips, you barely notice you’re wearing lipstick at all. They are very lightweight and very easy to apply.
Ultra Matte Lip: These are liquid lipsticks that dry completely matte and transfer proof. They come in over 40 different colours- each one nicer than the next! They are extremely long wearing.
Ultra Satin Lip: These are similar to the Ultra Matte Lip with the difference being that they doesn’t feel quite as dry as the Ultra Matte Lip. They are also long wearing but not transfer proof. When I wear this lipstick my children often have lipstick marks on them;) They have over 30 different stunning shades.
Ultra Glossy Lip: These are really pigmented and shiny. Usually lipsticks and lip glosses that have a lot of pigment feel very heavy and sticky. These have no stickiness at all. You feel like you’re not wearing anything yet you look very glam:)) They come in over 20 different glossy shades.
Ultra Metallic Lip: These are highly pigmented with a metallic finish and a satin look. They are also long wearing and feel very lightweight. They come in 11 different shades of the Ultra Metallic Lip.
Lippie Stix: These are the cutest lipsticks ever and extremely easy to use. They have over 70 different shades with a mixture of finishes. Most of the Lippie Stix come with a Lippie Pencil which is a lip liner matching the colour of the Lippie Stix.
For Fox Sake- Mixed Finish Lip Collection
To begin my ColourPop lipstick reviews I’ll start with my favourite product which is the For Fox Sake Mixed Finish Lip Collection. This comes in a set of 5 gorgeous colours of different textures. I don’t think that ColourPop sell this as a set anymore however, all of the colours can be bought individually.
They are all nude and neutral colours which as you know I am a fan of. I also love that the pack came with a variety of finishes- one for every occasion. My favourite ones are My Jam and Trap.
I find the Ultra Matte Lips do dry my lips quite a lot, so I usually try to remember to apply a primer on my lips before applying the lipstick.
Out and About- Lip Bundle
The Out and Abut comes with 3 lipsticks. 1 Ultra Satin Lip in the colour Baracuda and 2 Ultra Matte Lips in the colours Time Square and Viper. I love all the colours but my favourite has to be Times Square.
I only ordered two of these. First I wanted to see if they apply nicely and easily before splashing out on more, because ColourPop are so reasonable in price it’s so easy to overspend! I ordered colours Button which comes in satin and Oh Snap which comes in matte. I’m really happy with these purchases. They apply smoothly and easily with one coat being plenty. ColourPop has once again outdone themselves with a fabulous product.
I hope you have enjoyed these ColourPop lipstick reviews. I can definitely say that ColourPop are way up there for me and I’m yet to find a product of theirs that I do not like. Their quality, variety and prices are above most other makeup and lip brands.
The only annoying thing I have to say about ColourPop is that you can only buy it directly from their US web store. This is annoying because some people like trying on a colour before buying it. Also I live in the UK so the shipping takes longer than normal and if I order too much I will have to pay taxes.
Have you used any ColourPop lipsticks? I would love to hear your opinions and thoughts in the comments below:)
Have a good day,
