The eyeshadow palette is of great quality and it has the luxurious factor too. And let’s be honest, who doesn’t love a bit of lux?!
That’s all very nice but, in reality, it’s the inside that we care about! Well, you won’t be disappointed!
The colours are spectacular and I love the colour range! The Anastasia Beverly Hills Eyeshadow palette comes with 14 beautiful shades of which 11 are matte, 2 are metallic and one is satin. Beautiful, beautiful and beautiful!
The Shades
The shades are all really pretty with versatile colours varying from beige, and earthy tones to raspberry, crimson and orange colours.
There’s no shortage of looks you can create from the Modern Renaissance palette. From romantic and dreamy to bold and sultry. Add a splash of burnt orange or bright pink and you will make a statement!
I’m all about saving money and what makes the Modern Renaissance palette great, is that the colours fit every season. This makes it an all-year-round eyeshadow palette. You can also use this palette for every occasion, be it everyday or evening wear.
A pretty unique feature that I discovered with this palette is that the colours match every skin tone. I am very pale and the colours complement my skin wonderfully, and I have friends who have darker skin tones and it looks great on them too.

The colours are extremely pigmented and long-wearing, without much fallout which is the ideal combination that all eyeshadow palettes should have!
This eyeshadow palette lasts amazingly. So many people have commented on how long-wearing the Modern Renaissance eyeshadow palette is and how it lasts them all day without any creasing.
The colours blend beautifully and are extremely easy to apply with very little fallout. If you’re short on time this is a great palette because the blending is so easy and doesn’t take much time or effort.

The only downside for me is that the eyeshadow brush that it comes with could be improved a little. Brushes that come with makeup like eyeshadow palettes never really live up to the palettes. It’s a bit of a shame, but it doesn’t take away from the fact that this is one epic eyeshadow palette!

This palette of eye shadows looks gorgeous. I usually wear only one color all the time but you are definitely tempting me to become more of a fashionista when it comes to eyeshadow.
You stated that this color palette is long lasting. I was wondering if it caked or creased. This is the main reason I don’t use a lot of eye makeup. I cannot Stand when I I close my eyes and there is a crease of eyeshadow! How many hours would you say that it lasts?
It definitely is long-lasting for eyeshadows. It lasts around 8 hours- obviously this depends on your skin type. A lot of people found this eyeshadow not to crease. However, like you my eyeshadow often creases which I can’t stand. I started using an AMAZING primer by Urban Decay which keeps it from creasing every time. One of my best investments! Good Luck!
This eye shadow palette looks really interested. I do not really use these colours, but maybe now is the time to branch out and try a whole different spectrum!
